Modern Witch Advices - Witchy Apps you need

I use a lot of apps. A LOT. And some are witchy, because I love the fact that I can learn and practice from anywhere. So I made a short list of my favorite witchy apps. There's a lot more out there, but these are the one I really use. So this is not publicity, I don't get money to share this, I just wanted to share the apps I use in my life, so enjoy!

*Just so you know, I tried those apps on Android devices, so I don't know if they work exactly the same with apple devices and some don't seem available..

1- To dig into astrology - AstroMatrix

Do you know what is your mercury sign? This app does. It's like a spiritual birth certificate that you can carry in your pocket. There's also readings, horoscopes, ... everything you need to discover more about yourself. It's sure that my advice is to go see a professional that will make your natal chart and analyse it with you, but this app is a cheaper alternative.

+: Very complete app. You can have a lot of information from your astral chart.

-: Kind of a maze. I find it hard to find the information I need some time. And also, because it's a very complete app, sometime you need to wait for a page to load.

2- For your ''tarot'' needs - Labyrinthos

You want to learn more about tarot reading? You want spread ideas? You only like daily readings? Whatever is it you're looking for, this app. is perfect. The aesthetic is perfect, it's easy to use and you can even buy the cards used in the app.. You can even use physical cards for a daily spread and put them in the app. to have help reading them. They also do a lot of similar apps (The Luminous Spirit Tarot, Seventh Sphere Lenormand & Tarot, Golden Thread Tarot), so don't hesitate trying more than one to find the one for you.

+: The aesthetic is dreamy and minimalist, perfect for this kind of app.

-: The sync is not on point. I tried using it on my tablet and my phone, but lost my progression, because it back up from an old save. So my advice is to use it only on one device.

3- If you're curious about numbers - Numerology - Rediscover your Life Purpose

Are you familiar with numerology? I used to doubt about it (a lot), telling myself that there's no way a number can tell you something. I don't fully believe in it yet, but I'm learning to enjoy it and one of the reasons is this app. This app makes numerology fun and easy to understand, which I like. I didn't want to go too deep into it, so I found what I wanted.

*There's a bit of numerology in AstroMatrix, but if you want a little more, this app is the one you need.

+: The app has scratch cards with affirmations for each day. Kind of cheesy, but cute. It also tells you which color you should wear each day, which is fun!

-: Very basic app. You have the basic information on the numerology of your life (life path, ...) and the forecast base on this information, but that's pretty much it. It's a good introduction, but maybe look for courses or books if you want to become pro on numerology.

4- If you want to follow the course of the moon - Phases of the moon

If you want to know when is the full moon to charge your crystals or in which sign the current moon is, go to Phases of the moon. It's been a long time since I had this app and I love it. You can see the moon from whenever you want just by rotating the virtual moon with your finger.

For example, today (day of the publication of this article), the moon is in Aquarius, the illumination is about 100% (full moon duh), the moon is at a distance of 404,254,34 km and is 15 years old (since the new moon). So even on cloudy days, you can look at the moon.

There's also a widget, so you can have the current moon on the home page of your phone. Isn't it fantastic?

+: You can look at the moon from any date, which is amazing! Also, there's the zodiac information.

-: It's really hard to find a down-side for this app. The only little thing is that the location is only based on hemisphere, so for the alerts, it can happen that it doesn't concern you. For example, you can have an alert for an eclipse that you can't see from your country.
